1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the EvHub website at evhub.africa and any related services we make available (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.

2. Who we are

EvHub is operated by Hassa Holdings (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in the Republic of South Africa, based in Cape Town. References to "you" mean any person who visits the site or uses an EvHub account.

3. Our services

EvHub provides a public directory of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across South Africa together with a live status map, a "by-province" browse, station-detail pages and, for authenticated operators, an internal tracker that includes uptime, session, revenue and cost tooling.

We curate and enrich charging-station data from public sources, including third-party APIs such as chargestations.co.za and Open Charge Map. We do not operate every station listed in the directory; the operator of each site is responsible for the charger's availability, tariff, hardware condition and on-site support.

4. Accounts and access

Browsing the public directory requires no account. Access to the operator tracker, dashboard and admin tools is available by invitation only. If you are invited, you agree to:

• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them.
• Notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised use of your account.
• Use the tracker only for the purposes for which your access was granted.

We may suspend or terminate accounts where these terms are breached or where access is no longer appropriate.

5. Charging station data

Station information — including addresses, operator names, connector types, tariffs and live status — is obtained from operators, third-party providers and our own polling. Despite reasonable care, this information may be out of date, incomplete or inaccurate. We don't guarantee that a given station is operational, available, at a particular price, or that it supports your vehicle.

You should always confirm availability, access, payment method and applicable tariff with the station operator before relying on our data for any trip or commercial decision.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, spider or systematically download the site in a way that would materially burden our infrastructure or that goes beyond what a normal user would do.
• Interfere with, probe or test the vulnerability of any of our systems or networks.
• Use the Services to publish, transmit or collect unlawful, misleading or infringing content.
• Misrepresent yourself as another person or operator, or submit false station suggestions.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, except to the limited extent permitted by law.

7. Intellectual property

The EvHub name, logo, product design, copy and code are owned by us or our licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property to you. Public station data we publish remains subject to the rights of the original source; where we redistribute Open Charge Map data we do so under its applicable licence.

You may link to public pages on this site for non-commercial purposes provided the linking doesn't imply any partnership, sponsorship or endorsement that doesn't exist.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or currency of any charging station information on the site.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hassa Holdings (Pty) Ltd and its directors, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent allowed by law, and in any event to ZAR 1,000.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be notified on the site or (for account holders) by email. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of South Africa (Western Cape Division, Cape Town) for any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms.
